Time spent in green spaces is proven to have a positive effect on our mental and physical wellbeing, so get out and start enjoying the benefits of being in some of the fabulous green spaces we have on offer around the county!
Find out more about the different locations with the interesting facts and photos, record your favourites and mark where youve been on the in-built map and checklist, then watch your Green Gauge climb!
You can filter the locations by theme, such as heritage locations, woodlands, and gardens. If you find a location thats missing from the app, you can submit your own facts and photos within the app to help the collection of green spaces to grow.
Why not give yourself a challenge, such as visiting every site in a particular theme, visit locations in alphabetical order, or use the app as a starting point to find new locations to visit on your own walking and cycling routes?
Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service wants to share its passion for Nottinghamshires green and blue spaces, and make sure people can access them to bring a bit of nature into their lives.
